I was trying to get this website building job a week back. I eventually did not get it. That was no problem as they did not understand what I wanted to offer. According to them what I was offering was something that they could get at a very low price.

Now there requirement was that they wanted a website that was out of the box and got people glued to it. They are a small software development company and want more customers. So I decided to offer them this really really cool and dynamic website that I would make in JavaScruot/XHTML/CSS all that would be Search Engine friendly. But according to them they can get the same thing done at a lower price on Flash. But what they dont understand is that Flash does not have any SEO capibilies and that it is very important to be listed on the Search Enigine.  But all they want me to do is lower the price to 4500INR (I originally asked for Rs.6000).  What they dont understand is that if they spend this extra Rs.1500 they will profit a lot as more people would come to there website as it would be listed on a good search engine

So here is what I did. I asked for Rs.6000 if they would be ready to pay good for me and if they dont then also it is fine as my school is restarting on Monday and I wont have time for all this shit. So I dont get the job. All is fine with me. Then that guy comes online again and tells me that I did not get the job only because the price was to high. I tell him that what I was to offer was really unique. Then he hands the chat over to his "Technical Guy". I am trying to explain to him and he goes offline. I mean what am I suppose to do with such customers. I am happy that I left all this now.
