Dear Family and Friends,
Phil had a good day today. My cousin Jeff came by and visited with us this morning it was so good to see him and spend time with him catching up and visiting. Jeff is a little younger than me but we grew up together when we were little kids in Chicago and then again as teenagers here in Oregon. He is kind of like a brother to me.
Phil was able to eat corn on the cob, a few other different things, and took a little walk with me up the road a little past my parents house. It was good for him to get out. We were there over 4 hours so he took a little snooze in the house for about an hour. But he was up most of the day!
I took some melatonin tonight maybe that will help me sleep. Thank you for praying I wasn't soooo cranky in my heart today. But I'm still tired. We look forward to the MRI tomorrow. Phil is going to call the Dr. about the sleep machine problem tomorrow, (it is so good that he is able to do some of these things himself now). It seems to be getting worse his mouth and nose are cold all the time day and night and he is having some trouble with his speech and tongue especially when he is really tired. He is sooooo much better than a few weeks ago but he still has a long way to go. He is working hard.
Matthew still doesn't have a job lined up he talked with a few places today and they want him to keep coming back. Nothing is opened up yet. Maybe that is good as he has a lot to do to get moved in and settled. His friend Matthew Harrison is bringing his little couch down tomorrow so he doesn't have to make another trip with a borrowed truck. That always makes me a little nervous borrowing things that big. His boss T.J. from Nuts on Sports let him use his truck Saturday.
We thank you for praying.
Trusting Him through the human tiredness.
Love Donna
