Entry for August 11, 2006
Dear Family and Friends,

Happy weekend! Hope you find some rest in the weekend. Phil had a pretty good day compared to yesterday. He is so tired, and still can't eat much, but so far so good. We had a little belated B-day party tonight for Matt, with the kids and Grandpa and Grandma. Phil ate half of a little piece of cheese pizza a tiny bit of watermelon, and salad. He passed on the cake and Ice cream. He can't tolerate anything that is sweet. We set up appointments today (Yikes 35) to be exact, so far. We still need to set up more with the dentist and the hearing Doctor and the Chiropractor. I was on the phone a looooong time. I couldn't put it off any longer. Phil's days of rest are over starting Monday.

Well, not much to say tonight I am sooooooo tired. Hope to sleep good tonight. Phil keeps taking the c-pap machine off in the night,  I keep gently asking him to put it back on after about an hour with it off for a break. I've got to get me on of those machines.

Jeryl came over and brought some little bracelets they sell at AAA for sea and car sickness. We are going to give them a try. They work with pressure points on the wrist. She is such a dear friend.

Thank you for remembering us in your prayers. Lately Phil and I have been able to pray together again at night before we go to bed . We need to pray, because these next 5 years are still the cheer leading years, as we watch and pray for our kids, they making some of the most important decisions they will make in their lives. We need to be able to pray for them together. I thank the Lord that He has continued to give us that gift together. You all, take advantage of that gift it is something you can do for your kids and it is FREE!

Love Donna, Phil, Matthew , Meaghan, Sam, Laura and Josh
