HI Family and Friends,

     We made it through the first day!  Phil slept a lot today we played about 45 minutes of thinking games and just walked from place to place.  We didn't do any planned walking.  He had a little trouble with one of his meals  but did OK on the others.  We made an appointment to see the Nero. surgeon next Wednesday.  It will be good to see and talk with a DR. who specializes in this type of stroke.  The Dr. at RIO mainly just made sure he stayed alive  he wasn't educated in this ailment.  Each week there is a little improvement.  Phil still has the headaches but they are not quite as bad.  His balance is still pretty shaky but a little better.  Please keep praying.  We really need those prayers.
