Hi Friends and Family,



Phil, the one they call the miracle boy at the neurologist water cooler is on his way to Good Sam RIO tomorrow. He was accepted. We will rent a wheelchair van and driver and he will be on his way tomorrow morning between 10:00 and 12:00. I am so happy to see him get started. He has improved so much the past few day. He still has terrible headaches, dizziness, double vision and nausea but the DR. said that it will be that way as he has to retrain his brain. We have heard he will be in RIO from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the DR.. The one who did his surgery said 4-6 weeks but some of the other medical people think it will be sooner. 6 weeks sure beats never, which it very well could have been two weeks ago tonight, wow what a night that was. That night seems so long ago but really only 14 days, so many ups and downs since then. Phil is happy to hear the food there is much better, his appetite is really gone. Tonight he had mystery meat at Mt Hood Hosp. so he drank a White and chocolate milk. I wanted to get him something from town but he just couldn't think of eating much of anything. I tried to share my snicker bar (and you know how I guard my snickers) he would only take a tiny bite. So please pray that his appetite improves as well as those other ailments he is having. I'm sure the nausea has a lot to do with it.



We continue to thank you all for your prayers. There is so much power God shows when we pray. Sometimes he dosn't give us what we want but He gives us peace and strengthto go through it, to live and trust him.
