Entry for July 7, 2006
Hi Everyone,

Well today was good, we were able to see that shunt go out of his head. Phil was SOOOOOOOOOOO tired today so I spent most of the day out in the lobby. (For I am tempted to to touch him all the time and he needs to get good sleep). The Dr. said he would be a little more groggy, and it might look like a set back when the staples and shunt were taken out of his head,  we are seeing that happen right now, but that is to be expected. They had him go over to the sink (with Help) and wash his hands today. That was his big outing other than being moved to room 316 on the 3rd floor. He is out of intensive care. I made sure his nurse man knew he was a runner before I left and they put an alarm on his bed. I made him promise not to try to get up on his own and he said "who me". I am tempted to go there and sleep in the room but I will trust in the Lord and the prayers to keep him down.

Well, we are happy to have Meaghan come visit us this weekend her birthday is July 12 so we will be celebrating her 21st birthday. She is a keeper! Sam thinks so too.

Well, make sure to love your sweethearts every day, and thank the Lord for what you have, be good to each other, pray with each other, and take care of each other. Thank you for all your care and prayers. We are so blessed. Looking for God in all of this.

Love Donna and Phil
