Entry for July 25, 2006
Phil had another hard day but he is improving. After I left last night, he got sick the same happened tonight after he had his dinner. At least he has been able to get through all his therapies this week so far. We had his pow wow with the Dr. and all the therapists they all think he is on track. He should come home next WED. August 3rd to live. He will be coming home sometime Sat. afternoon to spend the night and return to RIO Sunday around PM. He is looking forward to not being woken up every 4 hours to see if he is still alive.
After tonight's sleep test he should get his machine to sleep with. That may help him improve at a faster pace, since he will be getting better oxygen in his head and sleep.
Laura was able to walk him around the hall today and walk up and down the flight of stairs when she came today for the meeting and his Physical therapy session. He is getting faster and better at it. He also walked out in the grass in a garden on the 3rd floor (funny there is a garden on the 3rd floor) The Dr in RIO said he talked with a gentleman who came in 6 months ago in the same shape as Phil and he is almost as good as new. I am going to ask the Dr. if he would be willing to contact Phil. The pain and nausea are still very hard for Phil to deal with.
When we pray at night he continues to ask God for strength and to be a testimony to all the people around him, asking God for good to come from this
So please pray these things with him.

God Bless You all Love donna and Phil and Family
