Hi Everyone,

Phil had a little better day today. They found a medicine that helped him keep everything down today, not that very much went down, but more than yesterday. Baby steps forward. He has a few other issues that are making him miserable, hope to get that figured out soon. After a few days on this medication that makes him a little less nauseous, they have to take him off it because his brain has to reprogram itself, tell itself that he does not need to be dizzy and does not need to send back his food and it can't do that if it is a happy brain. Lovely isn't it. This may just be a little vacation for him, so that he can stand life for a few days, then back to the drawing board.

Good news Phil walked up 13 stairs holding on to the railing, with both feet on each stair, then he took a rest, and went up another 13 stairs with only one foot on each stair. The tiny 78lb (no kidding) physical therapist was right behind him but he did all the work. He had his own little cheering section.

We continue to trust God for each day, thanking him that we have these days together. At times Phil thinks we robbed him of heaven but we need him worse down here and he knows that. Just heaven sounds pretty good to him right now.

We are still waiting on the sleep study results. Everything takes time.

Phil got a new roommate he is a good Christian Grandpa man, with lots of family so the quiet room is a memory but that's OK. Well tomorrow ids Friday we are getting close to the 4 week mark, we are pretty sure that Phil will come home for a test day and night next Sat. the 29Th. That will be soooooooooo great, we'll be able to figure out the things we need to change around here for him. He is still pretty strong so I think he will be all right here with a few changes. His balance is getting better, really he has come a long was from 3and 1/2 weeks ago. Thank you all for your prayers. God is working.
