Entry for July 13, 2006
Hi Guys,

Phil had a really hard day today. He couldn't keep anything he ate down. Such a bad headache too. He has got to get some relief from those. We are hoping the half of burrito Sam brought him he was able to keep down after we left. Every bite is so hard for him to take, after each bite he sight through his teeth.

His roommate Jack will be gone for the weekend so Phil will get some privacy and less stimulation. Hope that helps, his roommate has been there almost a month so he has visitors, and the TV on a lot he talks and laughs loud too. He is a real nice guy but in a different place in his recovery than Phil.

Normally Phil would love lots of visitors but thank you for giving him this time to heal. He could have a few on the weekend. But during the week he is going to work with the therapists all day long and is worn out. Please call me if you want to come I can let you know how he is doing and if he has been overloaded. He has been through so much. .

Phil walked alone today with the therapist standing by his arm steadying him when he started to sway a little. That is progress a few weeks ago he couldn't sit without leaning to the right and falling over. He lost his cookies when the occupational therapist had him doing stairs. It's so hard. But we knew this part would be work.

We continue to thank you all for taking the time to pray for Phil, the meals brought have been so helpful we usually don't get home to eat dinner until 8or 9PM but it is so great to have them thank, you all for everything that you have done to make this bearable. We don't know what we would have done without you all.

Love Donna and Phil
