Dear Friends and Family,

There is not much new happening around here today.  Phil's speech seems to be a little better. He had the day off today.  He spent a good part of the morning calling asphalt companies trying to get someone to come and give us a bid on blacktopping our driveway.  Hopefully someone will come from one of the 4 latest, different companies he tried to contact today.  He was able to get one of them to answer their phone saying they will come sometime in the next 2 weeks.  It's the craziest thing how hard it has been to get this driveway done. Phil has been trying off and on for the past two years. No one seems to excited about doing it, or want to give us a definite time when they can come even look at the job.  It would be good to get this driveway done before the darkness and bad weather so Phil has a better footing out there.  We could use some prayer that we can get this done before winter.  I am sure there has to be someone out there who wouldn't mind doing a driveway job! Oh well, it gives Phil something else to think about. Hope you enjoy your weekends.  We are all doing pretty well.  Phil hasn’t been playing with his table saw:).
