Dear Family and Friends,
Not much to write today. Phil went to the sleep disorder Dr. today. There is a little memory card in the machine that tells him how much time he has slept with it on. It registered that he slept an average of 3 hours and 45 minutes each night. That was better than last months results. He really needs to wear it 7 hours or more to get in the rem sleep and get the body through the healing hours of the night. So we are going to try hard each night to do better. He is miserable with it on
, we are going to ask for a new and different mask. The Dr. told us he uses one of these machines. I asked him what mask he wore and he said one that is different than Phil's. He also had a hard time getting used to it, and tried several different ones before he settled on this one. So tomorrow I will call the company that distributes the machine and supplies and get the kind that he Dr. wears. He also says that they are coming out with a new smaller Bi-pap machine next month and we should ask for that one before we buy one. Sooooo many details!
Wow! We were BLESSED By Bill,John, Jason and Josh today! We have a beautiful new patchwork of GREEN grass in our front yard! We have NEVER had real grass before. I sat outside tonight for an hour and just enjoyed the view. They also spread bark dust it looks so pretty
. Thank You guys!
Phil and I went to Costco tonight after the Dr. visit, it was our first visit in 3 months, that was fun for me. Phil probably has a different opinion. But one good thing as Phil says being a stroke victim has its benefits. We joke about that). We were able to park in the handicap spot and get the (glory hole) as Laura and I call it when we get a good spot. We better not get used to this new found freedom because Phil is going to be so much better soon. I think we would trade a little more walking for that.
Well that's the news for now. Thank you for praying for us.
Love Donna& Phil
