Hello Ladies

I had a bit of a search around for a profile pic for my blog.  Not easy - google is full of pictures of various Portias.  There are the legal Portias, pictures of actresses playing Portia, pictures of dogs called Portia and pictures of numerous pornographic stars called Portia (!!).

Anyway, I found the profile pic and it was just perfect.  Most people concentrate on Portia in her manly guise as a Master of Laws.  But of course, first and foremost we must remember that Portia is a WOMAN.  I think that this was what the artist, Ann Kelly, was trying to get across.

Strangely enough, Ann Kelly was my mother's name also - but (as far as I am aware, I am not related to this Anne Kelly).

So, after unashamedly nicking her image, I have linked to her site - its the very least a girl can do!
