Hanging in the Travel Lift,  really high up. Waxed her this morning (nope, no shaving this time, he he). Then went into 'town" on Commercial street. Not a good place to be after sunset, apparently. Got my postcards and letters sent off. Went into a Mexican place to eat. Had cheese enchilladas. Behind me 2 ex-convicts talking bout life in prison and money and their lawyers. Were swearing a lot, too. This one guy's phone kept ringing. They didn't look like criminals to me, I said to Bob. He then asked "well, how DOES a criminal look like?" and I couldn't really asnwer that one...On our walk back to the Yacht Yard I was walking behind Bob (narrow, unused sidewalks) and all of a sudden Bob heard me scream. There was a dead snake on the sidewalk, right next to me. Dead but still fresh. He said his grandma would have had a heart attack had this happened to her.                      Skin and all covered in coal dust. BADLY! Southwinds blowing it right into us all day. Soon we'll be outa here!
