I know Detroit is having FUN tonight! I've been busy in the kitchen and cleaning up the kids. Interesting day. Besides being physical pulled out of bed so I can cook the wings.. (I fell asleep with BJ) and then getting tackled by my b/f, cousin, friends, and had 4 coolers.. I'm beat.
Now.. I made my wings really hot! And bought celery. Of course men don't want freakin celery. They looked at me like I was nuts. I guess beer is enough to cool off the tougue. Now I have to go clean the kitchen. Luckily with my products.. it will not take long
Product Experiences
1) I never realized how much pesticides and chemicals they put on veggies. I mixed the Tough N Tender with Solumel everytime. I use it to clean everything! From the counters and stove to fruits/veggies/meats. It's feels good not having to buy different products to do multiple task. But I really love how much better my food taste. Even when I spray it on apples, I can actually see the difference on the surface. I guess our taste buds are so use the chemicals, unless you're really into organic foods, you don't know the difference until it's gone.
2) Ahh.. looking good Philena. :) Yep.. Lost 10 more pounds since my birthday. I'm finally under the weight on my driver's license. Amazing. I remember when I 1st got my license at 15. Wow! Now that's something. 5lbs under to be exact. I was dancing when I got off the scale. Now mind you, I started taking the supplements in Sept. Just the regular women's vitamins and the mineral complex. I just started eating the meal bars for a week. (I, at least, wanted to know what they taste like :p) And they're not too bad. But I'm more proud of losing this weight so slowing. You have a better chance of keeping it off. So, my total since Sept is 30lbs,(with no intense exercise routines and just taking the daily supplements and baby exercises and household chorus), it took 5 months to lose 30lbs. That's really good. No special diets either. You know I eat good. But my taste buds are different. I really can't put my finger on it. I can tell I'm eating better, but I'm not forcing myself to. You know how diets usually go. You have to count calories, document your activities, join a support group or buddy system... I did none of that.
I guess the article about Intellectual Wellness holds more true about being healthy, (mind, body, and spirit). I think that's why all of my previous attempts have failed. I have to keep reminding myself, "Don't eat this" "Go to the Gym" "What's my total calorie count" You can only do that for so long, before you start to slag off. (As most people) How many workout videos do you have collecting dust? Gym memberships or clubs you paid for and only went for 6 months? Same ole stories. So.. I think the real secret to weight loss and keeping it off is when it becomes instinctive. Mind you I sometimes I forget a day or two to take my vitamins, but my body sure feels the difference when it's been too long. Now that's something I can stick with.
3) Bad baby. Some of my shortcuts. You know.. My baby, BJ, is 9mths now. Time sure flies! Oh.. baby exercises is when I use BJ for weights. You don't need to buy a special book, they still have material at the library or on the net. Pretty easy though. Besides watching him laugh like crazy while I bench press him and do shoulder lifts it's fun and easy. Even though I'm losing, I don't want to be too flabby. :( Only downside is, I can't do it for too long, he might throw up on me! Anyway.. I was slacking on cutting his fingernails. He scratched his face pretty bad. So I put the Mela oil on the scratch, and it healed very fast. Man.. it's still takes awhile getting use to one product for diaper rashes, sore gums, cuts, burns, and infections. But I finally got the 1st aid kit. That impressed my family. ;) "Wow.. they got 1st aid kits, hmm.. maybe your right" DUH!!! Never had a 1st aid kit before. I know, that's sad, but my family's not into that sort of thing. When I was little is was vaseline and a band-aid. Sometimes.. no vaseline.. just a rinse and a smile :) So that's my update.
Have a Great Week Everyone!
