Ok, it’s been a while. I should tell you about our trip to Wendy’s, so I will. We went with Grandma and Grandpa to the Wendy’s at 21st and Maize. The kids did great with no screaming or fits or anything! The kids ate French fries, chicken nuggets and mandarin oranges. They mostly just watched all the other kids that were in the place. We took some pictures and I have posted one.
The kids have been leaning a few tricks now, thanks to Grandma. They know where their hair, nose and mouth are. Nolan is giving out raspberries with a vengeance, and Katherine is standing and turning up the volume on the stereo (Yikes), but I’ve saved the best story for last.
Have you ever had a ceiling fan fall down for no reason? Been there, done that. Last Sunday, I was out weeding the driveway (lot of cracks for weeds to grow) and Amy come running out, asking if I had heard the ceiling fan fall. I went back in and saw that the ceiling fan in Katherine’s room was lying in the middle of the floor with glass shards everywhere. Amy called Grandma and Grandpa and they were over in no time. Grandpa helped clean up the floor while Grandma helped calm Amy down. Upon inspection, the pot metal brace that the fan hung from had broken in two places, for no reason.
