For all of you looking to hear some good news after yesterday’s tragedy in Virginia, Nolan started to crawl last night! I didn’t think that was ever going to happen. He would keep reaching and spinning and sitting up, but would never crawl. He did it last night as we were getting ready to go to bed. He and his sister were in the boy’s room with me playing a bit. He decided that the nightstand with its clanky grab handle was the most interesting thing to play with in the room, but he had to move about 3 feet to get to it. He just started to go towards it. He moved very slow, picking up his legs like a dog trying to shake off boots, but he got there. Its times like these that make you realize it is all worth it.
