The kid’s birthday party was a blast. The kids did a great job opening presents and a pretty good job eating cake, too. They got two baths that day, with the 2nd one being with Cousin Carter. They are having a great time with their new toys.
Katherine is again our star. She is now pulling herself up to a standing position and has taught Gage to get up on his knees in the bathtub. Nolan is still amazing us at all of the tricks he learns to get what he wants without crawling.
On a side note, it is really getting difficult to update the blog as of late. We were getting ready for the kid’s party last week, and this week we are catching up on stuff that didn’t get done. Also, the kids and I have a cold now. Amy has had it since last week, and it is making it really hard to get anything done while taking care of the kids. Gage wants to be held all the time and Katherine is becoming super difficult to put to bed. Friday night (6th), Amy and I only got 2 hours of sleep. We are also starting the bad habit of rocking them to sleep in the middle of the night. It doesn’t bother me right now, because I can fall asleep in the chair with them, but it will catch up to us.
