Listening ![]() As you can see, the kids are starting to do whatever they want. They are getting their confidence and independence, which means that they are not listening. Don't get me wrong, when we ask them to do tasks, they will do them and will be praised by mommy and daddy, but only if they are indifferent to the task. If they really want to steal a toy, there is no amount of telling them stop we can do to get them to listen to us. At the same time, it is so much fun to see them play. They have a small, 18 inch slide in the back yard that they will use endlessly. They are pushing the wagon around, digging in the sand, kicking the soccer ball, and exploring everywhere. Even with all the fuss, the best time of my day is when I am with them and Amy. 2007-10-23 20:59:30 GMT

I agree with GrandCathy! Glad you are enjoying the family so much. It is "funny" how they selectively listen!
