Ok, so it’s been a while. Let’s start with the previous weekend.

This was the weekend that Papaw Dave and Grandma Beth came down to baby-sit on Friday and Monday. The poor kids had a cold that weekend, so in the afternoon, they were a bit cranky. Saturday, we all went to the Kansas State Fair and went through the Vendor area and all the barns. We saw cows and pigs and goats and llamas(?), and we went thought the birthing center, even though there wasn’t any “hatching” that was current.

On Sunday, we got up and ate breakfast and then opened our presents from Papaw and Grandma. The kids got two more “Little Tykes” cars and a little shopping cart. Grandma had read on this blog where the kiddos were fighting over the first car they got. Now everyone has their own car. After morning naps, we all went to the Zoo. This time we spent a little more time there as we went in the afternoon instead of the morning.

Monday night, Amy started a parenting class with Rainbows. I was supposed to go there as well, but I stayed home to help out Papaw and Grandma. I’m not saying we are doing anything wrong, but with three, any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

The rest of the week saw Nolan and Katherine getting some molars. They are all over their colds now, so we were confused for a little bit over the fussiness.

Friday night we went over to Aunt Mary’s and brought back (with the help on Angela and Anthony) a plastic toy house for the kids. It is now on our back deck, and the kiddos love it.

Sunday, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa’s as KB, John and Carter were stopping by. All of the kids are now walking so it was fun to see them walking around in their back yard. Of course, they all got dirty, with Gage pouring a Pepsi can on the front of his shirt, but they are kids, right?
