Management of The Parkview Hills Community in Kalamazoo, Michigan contacted CLEAN-FLO in early 2007 to discuss possible options to restore 8 acre Willow Lake in the community. The lake was rich in nutrients and was impaired by lily pads, milfoil, coontail, duckweed and filamentous algae.
Lake Savers, an authorized CLEAN-FLO representative worked with the Parkview Hills management to gather needed information and CLEAN-FLO designed a program to restore the lake which included an inversion system and an application of beneficial bacteria and enzymes.
Lake Savers installed the system on 6/18/07 and applied the bacteria and enzymes approximately one month later. “The results were evident after only 5 days” says John Tucci of Lake Savers. “The entire lake started to look better.
