Hello,

I wanted to start this blog to keep you all updated, and I am praying that this blog will also give me something to do. This has been a long journey. This "journey" started on August 17th 2002, when I had 2 heart attacks on this day. In June of the next year (2003) I was diagnosed with heart failure. In April of 2005, the doctors noted that the heart failure was getting worse. In March of this year(2006) I had to have a Pacemaker/Difibbulater put in to make my heart beat like it was suppose to. In May the doctors decided that I had to have a heart transplant. In order to have the transplant I have to be smoke free for 3 months. I have now been smoke free for 2 weeks. It has been very "'trying" to quit smoking. I have eaten enough Jolly Ranchers to resink the Titanic(hehehe)....GOD has been and continues to be good to me...He has delivered me from many things and now he has delivered me from smoking...I have many wonderful friends and a GREAT church and GREAT Pastor that continually pray for me. I am praying for many more "good" days so that I can be in service at my church. I miss being there at each service, it's just that some days I just can't seem to get moving, i'm so tired....Please continue to pray for GOD's intervention on this "journey".....Until next time, May GOD bless and keep you!!!...........Paula

Dear Paula, well, its about time you BLOG!!! LOL LOL. Wonder who thought up that name, its like when you use the debit card at Walmart, and they encourage you to 'SWIPE' your own card..ummmmm...but get locked up for stealing. You know we are with you on this 'Journey' which you already know that He has already made a way of escape with your new heart coming!! We have a lot to do in this Ministry and we have just begun. He has not called us unless He had a plan, and He does. So, like I have always and will continue to do, not only pray with you, but also HOUND YOU CONSISTENTLY on the words we speak :-) . Your Journey is another Testimony of God's Awesome Mercy and Grace and Love for all of us. We love you, Kevin and Cindy and of course, puppies too.
