My Deities
I call the Goddess and God by the names of Isis and Osiris - the deities of Ancient Egypt, as I have felt a strange connection to Egypt all my life. Even though I envisage the Wiccan deities as the Egyptian Goddess and God, to me, they are still the two main Wiccan deities. Isis and Osiris are merely archtypes of the Lord and Lady.
Wicca is a polytheistic religion, which means we believe in several Goddesses and Gods, but I see the other deities, say, Diana Goddess of the Moon as different aspects of the two main Wiccan deities. I believe that we have to break them down into several gods that govern different parts of our lives, so that we can comprehend what the Goddess and God are, as they are timeless, changeless and endless.
I believe that if you are Wiccan, no matter what names you give the deities, no matter how you envisage them, or how many you believe in, we are all worshipping the same Wiccan Goddess and God.
Though I believe that all gods are one God.
