DIY Rat Toys
Ratty Links
You can make lots of great rat toys from things lying around your house, I found an platsic sandcastle bucket that makes a great hidy hole.  Rats love being able to hide so putting cardboard boxes and cardboard tubes in their cage great for them.  Here are some other ideas of things you can make:

Hanging Tunnel:  If you cut the sleeve off an old shirt or the leg off a pair of trousers then cut four small holes in it, use pieces of string to attach it to the cage roof and you have a great tunnel for your rats to play and sleep in.

Water Bath:  Whether your rats love or hate water you can still let them enjoy it by filling up a container with luke warm water and dropping in vegetables like peas or sweetcorn which they can fish out, the brave rats will dive straight in and get the food while the more cautious furry friend will stand on the side and grab food with their paws.

To add your own toy ideas write them in my
