This is a comparison between the leading X-Box games of a specific genre Vs The best the Gamecube has to offer.  All of the review scores were taken from xbox.ign.com, and cube.ign.com.  I took these review scores on December 4th.
What made me decide to do this?  Well I know that the Gamcube is better than the X-Box, but I needed some cold hard facts.  Yelling "GaME cUbe Roks!!", Isn't going to get you anywhere in an discussion.  So I decided to compare the best that each system has to offer.  And as a bonus I compared games that have been on both systems, and the scores they have gotten.  Now onto the facts.

Fighting games are always a big issue on most gamers minds.  While Nintendo's last systems was short on fighters they already have one out for the Gamecube.  These two games were extremely close but in the end the edge went to the Gamecube

Gamecube: Super Smash Bros Melee, 9.6
X-Box: Dead Or Alive 3, 9.4

Winner: Gamecube
Difference .2
                      Category: Adventure
Normally Nintendo's strong point, this time Luigi's Mansion falls to Munch's Oddysee.  Munch win's by .4 putting X-box in the lead so far by .2.  And remember all of these reviews are taken from Ign.com, so these are not my reviews of the games.

Gamecube: Luigi's Mansion, 7.0
X-Box: Munch's Oddysee, 7.4

Winner: X-Box
Difference .4

                           Category: Action
In this category Microsoft's highest scoring title takes on Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II.  The result is the X-Box winning again by .6  This puts Gamecube behind by.8

Gamecube: Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II, 9.1
X-Box: Halo, 9.6

Winner: X-Box
Difference .5
