What If?...
By:Brian Alspaugh
A journey into some interesting possibilites that could revoultionize games forever.

Have you noticed that Madden is just about the same every year?  It seems to me that other than new players, a couple of bells and whistles, the game remains the same.  Now that the graphics have pretty much reached a peak for the time being, what is their to look foward to that's new and exciting?
I think that its time to look at a football game from a completly different angle.  There is alot of new options that haven't been explored yet.  I would like to see a game that's more realistic.  No I don't mean plays or fields.  I mean I want to see players suspended from teams for doing drugs.  I want to see a team have to move to a different town because of low attendance.  Think about how cool it would be to combine Sim City and Madden.  It would be great to pick a town for the arena, build the arena, set prices for merchandice and maintain a profit while guiding your team to the Super Bowl.
Imagine you signed a multi-million dollar deal with a start quarterback but now to compensate you must raise ticket prices and in turn less fans show up.  How would you handle such a problem?  What if the line isn't defending well because they think the quarterback is making to much money?  The different scenerios are endless.  Of course you would still have to include a regular season mode for the people who just want to play football, but I think this would be a great game.
Football game's like Madden are becoming stagnant
