Resident Evil

Chances are you have heard of Resident Evil. If you are not one of the million's who have played this series on Playstation, you have probably at least heard of the movie that was recntly released in theaters.
This game is like a playable version of Night Of The Living Dead. It is one of the few video game available that can make me jump. The game follows a group of elite soldiers who are investigating msyterious muders occuring in the Raccon City area. When they arrive. they realize that the area is infested with zombies. This is where the gameplay begins.
First things first, this game looks great. The graphics seen in this game are the best to grace any home console. The gameplay looks better than the cut-scenes! The zombies are well detailed and the mansion you are wandering thru is well thought thought out in it's design. This game looks so good that when playing with friends, we stop at certain points just to look at the scenery.
Branches slam against windows, lightning crashes in the background and zombie's thud and groan as they approach. This is backed up by great music that serves to highten the mood, and to make you jump. The voice acting in this version is much improved from the original released on the Playstation in 1996.
