| Star Wars Rouge Squadron 2 Review Nov 23th. Brian Alspaugh Star Wars Rouge Squadron II is a one player game placing you as the pilot of many different classic star wars ships acting out famous scenes from the movies. The first of these levels leaves you with the daunting task of destoying the Death Star, and that's only the begining. The visuals in this game are amazing. The textures on the ships look realistic and everything is very well detailed. The levels themselves are works of art, lending a great backdrop to the frantic gameplay. The A button is used for your primary weapon, while the B button is your secondary weapon. The R button speeds up while the L button brakes. X changes your camera angle and Y brings up a visor. Overall the control works great. The response time is quick and learning the controls won't take the average gamer more than 10 minutes. The sound is also fantastic. PLay this game in surround sound and your in for a treat. All of the other obvious gaming sounds are present like the guns shooting and the explosion's of enemy ships. The voice acting is also good with clips broughjt by the original Wedge from the Star Wars movies. Overall this is a really fun, fast and exciting game. This game is worth the purchase of any video game fan. I give Star Wars Rouge Squadron for the Nintendo Gamecube 8.5 out of ten. Pros + Great Graphics + Responsive Control + Great Fun Cons -Not enough Variety in the mission's |
