Dope Cd Review

Dope's second cd Life was released less than a month ago. The band whose name come from their lead singer's former job, expands upon the music on the first album. This cd is the first to actually have me crave the songs on it in a long time
This album is solid all the way thru. Just good hard rock with heavy guitar, and heavier lyrics. The production makes the sound that more brutal. This cd is not for the weak of heart
While I love this cd, I understand that it is not for evryone. If your not a fan of hard rock or distorted guitar you probably won't be swayed by this album. Also is your not a fan of aggresive lyrics this may not be for you.
While I like just about every song on this cd, the stand out tracks would have to be "Take your best shot", "Now or Never" and "Slipping Away"
I highly recommend this cd to any hard rock fans. This a great cd and it is among the best i have heard this year. I give Dope's second album "Life" 8.5 out of 10.
