Diary Of A Musician
It's a play on Diary of a Madman, the 1981 Ozzy cd, get it!? Never mind. This is going to be an ongoing column going into the life of s musician (me), and what I am currently going thru.
Let me give you some back story first. I have have been playing the guitar for five years. And like most musicians, I am broke. Dead broke. Money dissapates in my hand broke. Unlike most musicans however, I would be a musician even if there wasn't a payoff and musicans weren't famous. The only thing I can imagine doing with my life is music. the only thing slowing me down is exposure. .., and a need a new amp, and I need a drummer,... and I need to graduate high school, and I need new cables. ok so alot is slowing me down but there's no way I am going to give up. I will be laughing about this years from now on my yacht.
I have a great chance to get my band big, with a show in july. The expected crowd size is 6,000 to 8,000. The problem is finding a drummer between now and then. The guy who was going to play drums is already commited to two other bands. That's where i'm at right now. See you next week, -Brian 5/20/02
