Concert Review- "Cheapskate Jam"
By: Brian Alspaugh

As the name of this show suggests the price was right.  This was a free concert out on right here in my hometown the city of Lansing.  This show was put on to raise money for the Lansing skate park to be built next year.  This show featured three bands, mostly unkown but still good.  The largest band on the tour was Nonpoint, who were fresh off from Ozzy's Ozzfest tour.
The show opened with Darwin's Waiting Room.  Cool name aside, this band put on a decent show.  Nothing great but a good warm-up.
Next was Reveille.  I wasn't a big fan of their music, but the performance was great.  It climaxed with the lead singer climbing onto a stack of amps and flipping into the crowd!
To end the night Nonpoint entered the stage.  The energy at this show was incredible!  I don't know it was the night, the price or both but evryone was jumping!  Even police officers were in the mosh pit jumping around.  Overall a great show on an unforgetable night.
