| Alice Cooper Dragontown Review By Brian Alspaugh 11/13/01 I was really surprised to see a new Alice cd so soon after Brutal Planet (2000), but I'm glad I did. In my opinion this album is a notch above Brutal Planet. With a couple of exceptions (Disgraceland, Sex, Death and Money) this album is really solid. Here is the song breakdown |
| Triggerman Cool guitars, ok song. I think Dragontown should have been the first song. Deeper My secong favorite song on the cd. Probably one of my favorite Alice song's. Dragontown This is Alice at his best, I don't think it gets any better than this. Sex, Death and Money As proven by this song. I normally skip this track. Fantasy Man Funny stuff, a really well put together song. Somewhere In The Jungle This is a solid song. Most people like it more tha I do. Disgraceland The worst song on the entire album. They should have left this one out. Sister Sara My favorite song on the album. I could listen to this one again and again. Every Women Has A Name It's ok. I'm sick of Alice rerhashing the same song. (see Only Women Bleed and Take It Like A Women) I Just Wanna Be God Back to Alice making parents mad. Another good song. It's Much Too Late I'm indifferent to this one. The Sentinel Terrible. I like the idea but not the execution. I'm surprised this didn't get more airplay considering the events that have happened recently. This song is about a arabian plotting to bomb american buildings. Overall a good cd. You should buy it along with Ozzy's new cd Down To Earth. 7.5 out of 10 |
