In my life I've touched a rainbow:
Glimmering rays shining from my hand
My eyes gazed upon it in awe and wonder
As it traversed onwards toward the land
This rainbow was Gods' gift from you
A rare and wonderous pot of gold
With heaps of gentle memories
Too miraculous for me to hold
Notice rainbows only light the sky:
They appear with sunshine after rain
But.. come again they always will
Bearing promise to ease ones pain.
And now I can't help but ponder
Just what is it beyond that dome?
My special angel looking yonder
He's waiting there to carry me home.
