We had an awesome practice with our webmaster/cheif roadie Mitch "The Monkey Boy". Deciding,cos we were off school,that we'd open up my garage and play infront of all the highland kids TEE HEE : ). We were quickly shutodwn due to some old guy who ,quote "Couldn't hear himself think..." from rigt down the road,lol. Anywho, seeing as we were shutdown we decided to write some new stuff. So we've come up with the fastest,stupidest song ever written/thought of ( Courtesy of "the monkey boy" himself) Look out crowd participation in the the super fun "I like..." :) :) :)!!!!!

We have whole spat of gigs coming up and it's all looking pretty damn cool for the beggining of summer, espescially the garage and Mean fiddler gigs, it would be so cool if you all made the effort to come to these and it would help us out an all. As ever we promise these shows will posses all our souls and effort,(couple of new songs in the pipe line too!) as we all ways do for you lovely people... 26th June:- Pollution @ St John's hall 2nd July :- secret Woodhouse gig (only woodhouse kids allowed apparently) 18th July:- The one you've all been waiting for, TSNK @ The Mean Fiddler, aaaaawww, YEAH! 23rd July :- TSNK, Downstairs @The Garage Details for all the above on the forum....exept the "secret" one :-P 17 April 2004 Updated the Media page today so there's a couple more photo's. Can't believe we don't have even ONE from Emergenza... Oh well, hopefully we'll get a live recording done this time round so i can put that on the site with the lyrics, and we'll have at LEAST five people with cameras present, so we should be guaranteed at least a couple of decent photo's.... 08 April 2004 Ok, ok, so i did froget about this page, big deal. Not that anyone notices. The details to the secret gig got leaked onto the forum anyway. Damn Ben, foiling my schemes....grumble mutter grumble I found an old review of "born delinquent" today in "Spam", anyone remember that little Zine? they have a site now www.spam-zine.cjb.net we should support it, it's got good aims. Anyway the review said that the band was really refreshing, and that Genie was amazing, the rest was a little bit samey. It was generally very positive and gave us "3 spams" out of five. The funny thing is, as much hard work and effort we put into that CD, looking back, we can all agree it's crap.(LOL! the one song he raves about isn't ours...our version's better anyway) It's listenable...most of the time, and has some nice foundations to the songs, but we should never have given it out to people. Ah well, only the really hardcore fans were willing to take it anyway, so all well that ends well. Hell i'm gonna listen to it now... 20 March 2004 Hello again, i havn't forgotten about this page, i'm just truly short of random stuff and rants that i don't want to discuss on the forum. (not that anyone ever checks here anyway) Had a cool gig last night, people should check out a band currently called "doubting thomas" they'r very good... Emergenza rocked last night, the new line up is officially in buisness! This whole updating regularly thing is really weird to me after three months of nothing, but if you guys acctually wanna read this stuff then your all worth it! oh, and on a nother note, i know it's hassle, but could everyone get on the notify list on the home page, as it's alot easier to keep everyone up to speed on that, and you hear abourt other secret offers/news that no-one else gets cos we know only the true supernashwan fans get it! Plus how else do you recieve our love on a regluar basis??!? you know you want it... First things first, Ians first official gig with us will be at the POLLUTION event saturday week (17th) We'r smack bang in the middle of the day, but you know how i feel about supporting other bands and stuff, so we'll probs be there all day from the beggining, and i hope you guys pop in whenever you can to help out all the local talent! Though i really don't know about the set up yet. Contrair to usual i'm not organising this event,it sounds all pretty slap together and err..."punk" but like we'd have it any other way; should be some good local talent on display over a wide variety of genres, and our old buddies supernova are on the bill (this is like the third time we've played with them now?!?). It's at St. John's hall (no i don't know where that is either yet) :-P. Should be a laugh, as we'r not really rehearsed up fully with the new stuff, but hey we'r a punk band! as ben said it'll be a riot, watch this space for more up dates soon... (happy new year btw) 30th December 2003 WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! WE'R BACK! ok, well the biggest news is this is the first update since JUNE!! The secondary biggest news is, YES there IS a new supernashwan kid! The majority of the band have just come out of a prodject some of you may have followed called "thremidi" and brought back with us, a hell of a lot of personal musical progression, some new songs, and Ian! :-P So from here on we'r back in buisiness and hopefully we can win back all your support from our dormant period, but trust me it was worth it. New songs, old songs, bigger faster and stronger than ever before. Look out for updates around the site to co-incide with the birth of what is in many ways,almost a new band June 28th Hey people! thanx so much for everyone who turned up to our gig supportin djevara and schism, as usual we love you all! Sorry bout the lame sound through out our set, but all the blame lies on tose's teacher who wouldn't let him out early to soundcheck! (or that's the official excuse any way...:-P) Not that that seemed to stop you guys from having a good time though, in what turned out to be one of the most awesome gigs i've ever been to by the end! We played two brand new songs, though i'm not sure how audible they were, wich brings me to my next point... monday 14 june will be our last gig for at least a few months, @ ally pally school. we'r playing with the pope and cats ashes, so it promoises to be a very "punk" night indeed if nothing else. after that TSNK may be taking a gigging break for a while, but we won't be talking it easy, oh no! We'll be working on loads of better quality new stuff and hopefully chuck together a top quality studio album through this period, so i hope you'll all support us through this and look out for rare live shows while we refine ourselves and pass our gcses! (p.s. there's a new batch of our demo born delinquent available just e-mail me, and even a review on the media page!!) then of course there is Reg�'s new baby: EDYUM promotions. They'r giving a lil taste of their upcoming power with the rock stock IV show on JULY 18th@ the townhouse with an awesome line up, be there! they have of course been behind all the gig's at the townhouse, bringing you Djevara, Victims of noise, hooker bentley, ERROR, Plenoptic, and of course tsnk among others. But this is their first official gig, and what better way to start the summer holidays!! look out for a MASSIVE edyum launch party next year with some rather special guests... We'r all on such a high after our "secret" gig yeterday, wich provided the Perfect warm up to june 20th supporting Djevara. Yea, that's right, warm up, you aint seen nuthin yet! anyway, the atmosphere in the limited 50 capacity crowd (!) was awesome and we got the best response ever and had the time of our lives playing a showstopping 45 min set! Every one had a great attitude and was really up for it, you guys made the gig for us, thanx so much!Though there has to be special metions to People like the unsurpressable Mads who wouldn't let any one stop dancing and entertained us most of the time(!) along with graham and andrew who spent well over an hour in the cold waiting on a hope to get into the already over full hall, We love you guys! And of course The monkey boy made his first (of many?) live guest appearances, though we still wait for the ever illusive first appearance of the song "I Like..."... Cheers to the other bands "Minus IQ" and "Strike 1 4 safety" you guys rocked too! -Reg� April 20 2003 HAPPY EASTER GUYZ (From T.S.N.K) Demo is out tomorrow the cost will be �2.50 if ya'll were smart enuf to pre-order it the cost will be �2 if i am not mistaken(Too late to pre-order now :p) The cost is �2.50 rather than �3.50 because they (T.S.N.K) did not have to purchase the ink because me (Mitch) done it for free...ok cos things had moved faster than suspected the release date for the new demo is tomorrow (Monday 21st April) UPDATE Merchandise is now for sale...cool eh? go to the media page...the one wid all da pics...the one that kind of looks like a tunnel with pillars...the on that if u hold ur mouse over it for long enuf it ses 'Media' well anywayz...check it out Luv ya all (Bar a few) Mitch April 17 2003 WWAAAAAAAHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! NEW DEMO COMPLETE AND MASTERED!! we have spent the easter break recording a four track demo and it is finally complete and sounding like an absolute beauty!! The new cd is provisionally called "Born Delinquent" and should be on sale in the next coulpe of weeks. Expect to be forjing out about �3.50 but c'mon, we do need to cover our costs and we've put our hearts souls and more into this, so thanx in advance for all the support of out first (complete) recording. We are setting up a "pre-order" scheme (wich i highly recomend, as there are no garantees we'll stick to the high quality presentation of the first run of twenty jewel cased copies, yes, only twenty!! so order em now!) where bassically, you give three pound to the band before the cd comes out as opposed to �3.50. you can do this by either sorting it out with the band members personally, or by sending the money (or cheque to R. Page) with a name+return address to the super nashwan kids, 73 everslypark rd, winchmorehill n211nt. . you can also use this method when the cd comes out, but with the �3.50 price obviously.release date should be announced soon, and hopefully we may even get a "taster" track on-line soon so don't miss out. more updates very soon here. Aint i just the greatest ;-) anywho...Cement was wicked lat night, all who weren't there missed out. Only one question remains, what WILL he do to top that?...... April 3 I'd just like to apologise to everyone for the gig cancellation, i promise you, no one was looking forward to it more than us!! Equally NO-ONE was as pissed off as i was when we got less than 24 hours notice of it, it would seem that the super nashwan power has been seriously under estimated again...sigh when will people learn? Solution being, people won't have the nerve to do this shit to us all if you ALL turn up to the next few gigs we play (more info soon, plus any way, you can't afford to risk missing guest appearances from Mitch the "monkey boy" himself!!:P), but cheers for every one who was planin on comin down any way.:D Any way, i'm helpin put on another thing at the leisure lounge on saturday in enfield like rock stock featuring both familiar and new faces. T.S.N.K. arn't playing, but, our buddys, the young ecuadorians and error are both on the bill and i would encourage any one up for a night out and some wicked live music to come down and support "CEMENT" as it is for an extremely good cause, raising money for cement to build wells in uganda. 	I was crappin my pants as the doors opened to my very own festival, whilst simultaneously on top of the world as things as an awesome day lay before me. The "dream" of bringing local bands together to promote each other and generally have a laugh all whilst raising money and awareness for a cause that is often so easy to choose to ignore, was taking form. Things were looking good from the word go with an unbelievable queue stretching down the street from the venue. Immediately, a laid back atmosphere was set in the townhouse as people trickled in and met up with friends, chatting with members of bands dotted around the hall mingling randomly. Typically, no sooner have I jumped on stage to welcome every one and get everything under way (even though the queue is STILL going strong) the PA decides after having performed beautifully for sound checks that it is bashful, and proceeds to blow, giving youthful and energetic openers Reely Fool an unfairly meek sound. The band however did not allow them selves to be phased and followed by Nefarius making do with make shift sound from amps kept a healthy and light atmosphere amongst long waits and unprompted jams, showing a lot of character and the show did indeed go- on as my own band took to the stage. ( I had the time of my life).Though the early bands did manage to keep things up-beat amid technical difficulties things really peaked between 3-5 with a healthy crowd of roughly 220 kids (of all ages : ) as the sound got better and things began to catch up to the now completely irrelevant schedule. It's around this point that the festival feel really kicked in, all the bands were supporting each other, people were at the front, people were at the back having a drink, people were checking out the charity and merch stalls at the back, popping out for lunch and rushing back for their favourite band, and generally mingling. Though crowds died down toward the end, I couldn't help but feel that I had a hand in bringing a community together for the best of reasons and it was this light attitude that dominated as the "grown-up" bands brought the curtain down amid insuppressable smiles ; not least my own, in breathtaking style.
