Review ::Donkey Kong 64
Welcome to the world of Donkey Kong 64 the biggest N64 game made. Developed by Rare who was responsible for some of the N64's top games like Banjo Kazzoie, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Diddy Kong Racing. Apart form Rares other N64 efforts this is their most ambitious game.

In a cluster of islands the kongs live a peacful easy life. After K-Rool ape-naps Dk's friends it's up to him to save them. Starting off controlling DK in a training level you learn all the basic moves. When attempting the  main game you will begin your long quest of collecting medals, rescuing your friends and i almost forgot, collecting those bananas!

The size of the levles in DK64 are MASSIVE! Exploring the vastness of the levels, hanging from a tree looking around at the surrounding lush environments while your N64 is chugging away. All this is done thanks to the 4mb expansion pack thrown
in with the game. And guess what, there is no hint of fog and it's a Nintendo 64 game. WOW!

When you first boot up your game you will see an extremely cool intro with the kongs singing the DK rap.

The 5 playable characters in the game can be unlocked by freeing them. Each character will be able to open differnet doors and complete differnet tasks so you'll be backtracking to get the most from the game.

Sprinkled out around the levels are telliports where you will be able to teleport yourslef to other places in the level.

When first playing DK64 your jaw will drop to the ground and stay there until the end of the game after the beautiful visuals Rare have cooked up.
If that the game isnt good enough already the soud is great aswell.

Well boys and girls, overall Donkey Kong 64 is the best platformer ever full stop. If you don't have an N64 go out and buy one now. DK64 is an absolute classic.
