OZARK PIONEERS . . . . . ...music from deep in the Missouri Ozarks.
Mike and Sonja Lindeau live in a whiteoak Log Cabin they made themselves, deep in the oak-hickory forests of the Missouri Ozarks. Their pioneering lifestyle is an expression of Harmony...and their MUSIC is an expression of their life!
With a pioneering combination of Bluegrass, Cajun, Folk, Traditional Fiddle Tunes, Country and Gospel, the OZARK PIONEERS have been offering audiences throughout the Midwestern USA and Switzerland a wonderfully entertaining experience, bringing together the rich heritage of Acoustic Music, and performed with a harmony built upon many years of communion with each other and with the land.
"..a refreshing change of pace!"
High, lonesome ballads stir the leaves of Autumn. Feisty Cajun waltzes drip Tobasco in toe-tappin' sandals. Classic standards stir memories, and memorable Originals offer new perspectives.
Between the varied melodies, Mike and Sonjas' anecdotes carry the audience to far away places; be it about 'possums on the porch in the Ozarks or backpacking amidst the Edelweiss, high in the Swiss Alps. You see, Sonja is a native of Luzern, Switzerland and Mike hails from Alaska. Adventures abound...
Together, the OZARK PIONEERS offer audiences large and small, young and old, great music and a friendly, 'join-in-on-the-fun' atmosphere. Let them lead you down a few roads on their melodic journey. |
