All nurses will need to have:
1. Their qualifications assessed by the Nurses Registration Board &
obtain their NSW Nurses Registration. Apply through the NSW Nurses Registration
Board This is assessed on an individual basis. It will go in your favour to
have UKCC, work experience in another English speaking country or have passed
English Tests.
2. Pre-Qualified Business Sponsorship (This is offered by the Employer, after they have offered you a
position of employment).
3. Registration with the ANC (Australian Nursing
Council). You will need to be registered with the Australian Nursing Council to
work as a nurse in Australia, & for immigration purposes.
4. A Long
Stay Temporary Business Visa from the Department of
Immigration (obtained with our help, we supply
documentation).
Each applicant will be individually
assessed on the merit of education & experience.
To
be eligible for NSW Nurses Registration the RN's qualifications must be of a
similar standard to the 3 years University Bachelor's Degree available in
Australia.
If the RN has worked in the UK & has current UKCC (Now NMC) then they
will have a greater chance of being recognised as equivalent in
qualifications.
Written confirmation of English language skills, will be required &
will count towards their eligibility.
WHAT IF YOU DO NOT PASS NSW NURSES REGISTRATION?
You do not pay a fee. Unfortunately you would not qualify for the
positions we have available.
All RN's from the Philipines must do a 10 week
course called the Pre-Assessment Program which is paid for by the
Government Authority invloved.
This is done with the NSW College of Nursing.
