WHAT ARE GHOSTS?





A three word question. What are ghosts? It sounds simple enough, right? Wrong! Many people have contemplated the idea as to what ghosts actually are. Some will say that they are our imagination. Some will say they are guardian Angels. While others will say that they are the work of the Devil and are demonic in origin.

In theory, Ghosts are demons from the devil.  There are different types of demons.  Their are those that play tricks on people and are not mean.  These make up most ghosts out there, and there are those that are mean and try to possess people and can cause all sorts of trouble. Ghosts take on someone, who at one time, had substance on this earth. They are everything that we, as living creatures, are........but without the human body. They exhibit all the mental attributes that you and I have such as thought, conscience, emotions and emotional needs,  ego, personality and everything that makes up the human psyche. My experiences with ghosts has served to reinforce this ghost theory.

 Science fact is that energy can only change forms. The energy that makes up our being, where does it go when we die? It must go where God tells it to go until Christ comes back so there is no interacting with people when they die.  Just because we do not understand this immeasurable form of energy does not mean we should deny its existence.

 However, through research, investigation and experience, we have come to know that there are instances involving phenomena that we cannot otherwise explain as being natural. Many of those instances have incorporated a demonstration of intellect, and freedom of will behind the experienced phenomena. It is through research and perseverance, we can only hope to gain a better understanding   BY Vance, The Ghost Man.                   


 

Residual Ghost: Some of these types of demons are sometimes ignorant in nature. They tend to mind there own business and they seem to not even notice the outside environment. These are the phantom trains and ships, the maiden that is seen walking the halls of an old mansion at 12:00 AM every night, but doesn't seem to bother anyone. They replay over and over again, it's the same as watching a tape or movie that is replaying past events. They wear the same clothing and look the same as they did when they died and they go about with the mundane routine they had when they were alive. They have a human form and most are seen as very emotional, most of the time very sad and sometimes crying. 

For and example if you go to Willard Library, they have a Web Cam set up in two locations, the Research Room, and now the Children's Room. This was intended for the visitors of the site to actually catch a glimpse of the 'Lady in Grey' that is said to walk the library in hunt for a book. But this is the perfect example of a Residual Ghost, she is seen doing the same thing, in the same cloths and going about regular mundane tasks.

Intelligent/Interactive Ghosts: These types of demons have a purpose when the haunt places or people. These demons I like to think of as spirits that come to help with a murder investigations or it could very well be a spirit guide, or it could be considered a family or friend that have decided to stay behind in our dimension to look after the loved ones that they left behind. These demons can learn to communicate with humans through a form of channeling, although I feel all demons can do this, to a point, even the more ignorant types. These demons give off smells and 'cold spots' and can appear in full form when they want to.

A perfect example of this type of demon is a ghost by the name of Millie Pratt. She haunts the old Pratt Motel in Empire Colorado. She is said to have fallen down a flight of stairs while her dad was hard at work. Her mother had died when she was young and her dad had left her with the maid of the hotel while he worked. While the maid was busy doing her regular duties she heard Millie falling down the stairs to her death. She is also said, and it has been documented, that she would whisper into the women's ears late at night saying the words Mommy, Mommy. Some have even seen her falling down the stairs and some have even seen her laying at the bottom of the stairs. She seems to make herself known to only women, this is because she is looking for her mother that had died. See what I mean?  This ghost knows exactly what she is doing and she knows when women are around!

Orbs/Spheres, Vortex, and Mist: These types of demons you will find more regularly on film, they are everywhere. Since ghost are made up of energy and they need some type of electromagnetic disturbance in order to fully manifest themselves then this is what you usually get right before they do infact manifest. Movies are the ones that have blown this way out of proportion. There idea of a ghost is when they are a full apparition. These types of spirits are usually harmless at most, but still be cautious about dealing with them.

  • Orbs/Spheres: These are perfectly round in shape, clear milky in color and they just kind of float, you cannot see them with the naked eye, but on camera, watch out you will sure notice them.

  • Vortex: These are white and they look like a tornado. Some mistake these for the camera strap on the camera (Pull the strap back when you take a picture...very important!)

  • Mist: This type of spirit energy looks like a thin white layer of clouds right in front of the cameras view, you can catch these easily on a camcorder and sometimes they swirl around and fly by at a high rate of speed, so be prepared!

Now to the POLTERGEIST: These so called nasty demons are the spirits that make objects move, they slam doors, open doors and they can just be down right annoying! They can also be very shy in nature, plus there are some that can be very dangerous as well. The word poltergeist derived from the German word that means 'noisy ghost' and that is just what they are! These are the spirits that you really have to investigate, because this type of phenomenon can be sprung by an emotional child or adult. In studying this type of ghost it appears that this can be a form of psychokinetic energies from an individual that does not know that they are doing this. psychokinesis or telekinesis is the ability to move objects with the mind. Make sure you ask the person that owns the property if there are any children or even adults for that matter if they are going through any emotional problems
