KIDS The sites/links listed below are just a few of the thousands of kid links available on-line. Some have been pre-tested for their "Nanna-Know-What" (NKW) potential by my friend Christina (with the assistance of her grandson, Danny); others reviewed and researched for their content and ease of use. As with ANY site selected for children's use, it is strongly urged that parents preview the site before letting the kids select among them. Walk Around Disneyland: (NKW Rating: ****) Donald Laird's link to Disneyland itself, the Magic(al) Kingdom for kids of all ages. Kid Stuff: A thoughtful and carefully constructed site list of more intellectual interests (that does NOT mean "stodgy or stuffy" at this link). I've even found items of interest for me here, notably "A Girl's World" and "Animal, Myths and Legends". Highly recommended stop for children and their parents! K-12 On the Internet: This site is an amazing compendium of art, literature, music, language (you can even take French lessons), sports links, projects, science links, and even find a place to host your school's own web page....WHEW!!! Just about anything and everything a child would enjoy. To date, links appear to be carefully maintained reducing the frustration and aggravation of out-of-date links. Disney: Disney's official website, complete with information on Disney features, movies, characters, contests and other items of Disney interest. Nice place to visit for Disney-lovers of any generation! Aunt Annie: For those looking for hands-on projects to challenge, stimulate and absorb children, this is the site for you. New projects and crafts ideas are added on a regular basis so the creativity never stops! Miscellaneous gifs: THIS gif directory is a bit kinder to web-surfers, containing the graphic image as part of the directory itself. Nice touch!!! (And oh-so-helpful!!) Religious gifs: Timo has done a great job with this gif listing, breaking it down into easy-to-find categories. In addition to the religious graphics, other secular clip art sites and sources are listed. Textured Lines: Nice collection of colored lines and border designs. Great accents to any web page Tim's Blue Balls (And Other Graphics) Concise assortment of different sized ball gifs and line accents, including some cute thematic borders.
