A CASE FOR CHANGE
This page includes the abstract and table of contents of a case study
report. For the full document please contact with me: [email protected]
The purpose of this report is to provide the Group with the analysis
and the recommendations for the critical factors effecting the required
organisational change in order to achieve the objectives defined by the
chairman’s dream for the Group as to grow, over a realistic time frame, and to
become a major force in the building and construction industry in Scotland.
This report critically analyses the current state of the organisation in terms
of its culture, its organisational strengths and weaknesses, and opportunities
and threats at the market, and its internal efficiencies. Clarifying the vision
and objectives of the Group and the direction of the required change with its
supporting and restraining forces, this report provides recommendations to the
Group starting from its first part, which is the organisational culture. Going
through a four-phase planned change programme and ending with proposing
improvements to the internal efficiencies of the Group focusing on the
organisational structure, change management tools, management style and
training interventions, it is aimed to effect the cultural change of the Group
through introducing the new ways of doing things.
