Hi and welcome to my first ever attempt at a web page creation dedicated to myself, Desmond AKA Ozgood, Dezzy, Dez, Sergent Soon, Felix, my interest, my cars, my lifestyle, the company I keep and my achievements. I hope you like it.
Well I thought I would start by first off explaining a little of myself to you. I was born in Singapore on October 30, 1977 to my parents, Philip and Joyce Soon. I spent the first 12 years of my life in Singapore where I learned a lot about the rest of the world and different kinds of foods. In 1990 I immigrated to Vancouver Canada with my parents and lived in Richmond for a year before finally moving to South Surrey where I have been residing until April 29, 2002. Now I live in Japan. In all that time I have met some really extraordinary people many of whom I call my closest and dearest friends. I have learned that you are a product of your enviroment and therefore a reflection of those you keep around you. I feel that my friends and I are all very alike yet extremely different and unique in our ways. We all bring a lot to our symbiotic relationship. I am currently single but I have had the pleasure to have spent time with some wonderful ladies in my time too as well. I would like to appologies in advance if you happen to be reading this and you can't seem to find yourself anywhere on this website. The reason being that I have met so many people that I can't possibly include everyone's picture and name though I still remember you and the great memories that go along with you too. Well after moving to S. Surrey, I hung around many different crowds and did many good and "bad" things which all contribute to my diverse personality ( or so I would like to think ). I became a pilot by the age of 17 through the Air Cadets and studied Tae Kwon Do with my best friend Paul. I have owned and operated 3 small businesses, worked at who knows how many places ranging from garbage collection to inventory management to Engineering office assisting, Operating the biggest Valet company in Vancouver driving every kind of cool and not so cool car you can imagine(except the Diablo...yet to do that one) and now I live in the New York of Asia...TOKYO. I started by teaching English to kids then became the GM and Junior Partner of an English School in Tokyo working to expand on a relatively new concept and way of teaching in a conversational lounge type setting. I have since left that to become a full time Business English and Corporate Language Instructor while performing freelance Business Consulting to Venture companies. .
To summerize myself in short as possible I would have to say that I am: Tenatious, exciticing, positive, hardworking, excentric at times, mysterious, energetic, very passionate about anything I do, romantic, very intuative, outgoing, athletic, competitive, entruprenuiral, multifaciated, fearously loyal, dedicated, imaginative, always dreaming up bigger and better ideas, adventurous, funny and of course WEIRD!
