At some point in time everyone will need a trailer for something. I have needed one sometimes for lugging bulky items home. I have wanted to get one cheap so I have been in the market for older ones beacuse they are fairly cheap now due to their age. The ones I have been looking for are anything from 1963-1999. I have espescially been trying to fine ones with orignial registration becuase why not get original and it will be a headache to get it registered so why not just buy one with it included. The ones I have come across aren't in the best condition, they are rusted but not too much. The ideal candidates for restoration are so that they have a still structually strong but the tray has fallen apart. It is much easier to get a properly made one and just build the tray that bolts on to the frame. For my project I bought an older used one with a damaged tray and with minor rusting on the frame. I started with stripping all of the things that are bolted to the frame and removing them to make it ready for painting.
