SOME UPDATES: Planetbiker is dead...alas. No more travel articles for them. Love the girls, but as most publications of this sort it was a labor of love and money eventually runs out. BEST OF BUBBAS OF THE APOCALYPSE is out from BenBella Books. Please ask for it a Barnes and Noble or get it on Amazon.com. TRICK CON TREAT is going on in Oklahoma City on October 3, 4 and 5th. I am on the short guest list so I am very much under pressure to go, but my finances are so strapped right now I have no idea where I will stay or how I will finance this convention. Normally, it would not be a problem. However, this con is at the same time as Fencon and Archon and none of the normal folks I would hang with or find crash space with will be there. This may see me go back to my roots of carrying the ole pup tent on the back of my bike. I have also been working at least 50 hours a week or so. This does not do good things for the writing output. I feel like a slug on a salt flat as far as that goes right now.
