"Now boys, be good to the tourists!"

Champ & Todd

Come see what's Hidin' in the Haw Bushes!

Join us at the campfire as storytellers Todd Wilkinson and Champ Herren tell us what's Hidin' in the Haw Bushes, a program of Ozarks legends, tales of the supernatural and folklore. Our programs our based on the writings of Vance Randolph as well as other noted local folklorists; We examine the unique history and culture of the Ozarks region through superstition, customs, tales and legends, as well as a good bit of local humor. Since many of our Ozarks folklore and customs have their origins with the Scots-Irish, we also tell traditional Scottish tales and folklore in our programs.

Champ Herren is an insurance agent in Marshfield. Todd Wilkinson is a librarian and history teacher in Springfield.
