| Gidget is our only full blooded Mullins Feist and comes from Jones Knitehunt Kennels out of Tunas Missouri. She is out of Jones Riley and Jones Red Jasmine. Gidget is a small dog weighing about 21 pounds and is very short and stocky. She is a very nice show dog and is one of the easiest dogs to set up on a show bench. Although Gidget may be small, she has the heart of a lion and is just flat a wonderful little dog! She is not a real mouthy dog on game but she surely does enjoy a good hunt. She is just now starting to show me some good times in the woods and will require even more woods time before she is finished. This little dog LOVES to hunt with her handler and is a close ranging dog. She is not one for competition hunting though as she pays her handler a little too much attention. I consider Gidget a 100% pleasure hunting meat dog and she is truely a real pleasure to hunt with. This little dog can timber a squirrel through dense cover and enjoys retrieving them back to you. Gidget may not be the driven hunter that some of our dogs are but she is truly a pleasure to hunt with and I have high hopes for the future of her pups in the squirrel woods!!
