| TWA's legendary Lockheed Constellation! St. Louis Lambert Field, Flight from Kansas City, 1965. In the 1950's this proud ship was queen of the skies until 1959 and the intro of the Boeing 707 and the Jet Age. Connie was reduced to short domestic hops until the mid 1960's and the intro of the Boeing 727 and Douglas DC-9 and then sadly no longer needed in the TWA fleet. | |||
