Ok, about me. I'm a 19 year-old college student of Chinese descent. I split my time between attending school full-time as an Anthropology major/Women Studies minor and as an international spy for Interpol....just kidding. But I absolutely am fascinated by Anthropology, which is the study of humans and culture. My other passion in academia would be Women's Studies, founded out of a political agenda and dedicated to examine, theorize and possibly change the power relations in which women are marginalized.
I attend Occidental College as a junior in beautiful Southern California. I LOVE California!!! Being a native Californian, I can't think of any other place I would rather be than than in the sun, next to the mountains and the ocean. Some of my hobbies include knitting, I just recently learned, going out to 24 hour Chinese restuarants and of course, spending long hours harrassing my friends and family.
My family consists of my mom, my 15 year-old sister Loreen and my dog Holly. At school I have my wonderful unaffectionate turtle Donatello (named after Donatello of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), all my friends from Chilcott (Kate, Melissa and Garrett to name a few) with my roommate Jen, who's an art major. I work at Express the women's clothing store, and I love the shop and spend money.
One of my close friends Mel has just taught me to create my own web page using html. Check out her Ocean's Page which was her first web site.
So here I am, a sophomore at Oxy, getting over a guy, and designing her own website to distract herself from chasing men. Though I can't say that the tactic is working well.
