Neutrino will now be very relieved that The Met have now dropped their investigation over his alleged possession of a firearm, due to lack of evidence. The MC was allegedly shot in the leg after a row outside a London club in May and the police seemed to think he was tooled up himself.
We're so jolie, oh so jolie
As well as being used for an Ericsson advert, previous single Devil's Nightmare was also featured on the recent Tomb Raider movie. The boys went to both the LA and the UK premiere by sadly didn't get to meet succulent-lipped uber-sort Angelina Jolie.
21 seconds to no show
Although fully paid-up members of the So Solid Crew, both Oxide and Neutrino missed out on involvement in 21 Seconds as they were too busy. Neutrino had a go at rapping down his mobile but it apparently sounded a bit rubbish. They missed the video shoot too but do appear on a couple of So Solid album tracks.
Remember my name, fame!
Fame has been instant for the duo. Bound 4 Da Reload was their first-ever single and prior to its UK release, the tune sold 20,000 white label copies and was huge on the pirate radio scene.
Pirate's delight
While still at school, Oxide and Neutrino learnt their trade at the pirate radio station Delight FM. Oxide is a DJ at Delight and one day, Neutrino just picked up the mic and started to MC to the music. He then began to write lyrics and lay them down over Oxide's productions.
Bound 4 da mix
Aside from their singles and forthcoming album, their acclaimed mix album, The Solid Sound Of The Underground, is well worth checking out if you like your garage. It features tracks by the likes of DJ Dee Kline, Zed Bias and Second Protocol.
So solid brew
As you might expect, the boys don't feel a part of the garage scene and see themselves out on a bit of a limb, hence the very apt use of the Prodigy sample in No Good 4 Me. They're also keen to continue working within the So Solid Crew collective.
Shot in the dark
Neutrino was actually shot recently after leaving a club in London. As he was getting into his car, a mugger attacked him and shot the young garage star in the leg. Neutrino then drove himself to hospital where, fortunately, the injury was found not to be serious.
