It’s getting close to that time again when the leaves begin to fall and the Holidays are right around the corner.   This year will mark our 31st year for Christmas in the Country.    For over 30 years Oxford has hosted the Christmas in the Country celebration that has included holiday home tours, craft & antique shows, surrey rides, Church dinners, and holiday sales at local businesses. 

The Chamber of Commerce will host the Art & Antique Market again this year and we would love for you to join us on Friday & Saturday, November 23rd and 24th.    Our Juried Market will include hand crafted items, antiques & collectibles, jewelry, candles, food, and other items that may be considered quality gifts for the holidays.   The market hours will be as follows: Friday 10am – 5pm & Saturday 10am – 4pm.    If you are unable to make it for both days please contact us to see if we can fill the other day with another vendor.   Booth size is 8x10ft.  Price is $50 for 2 days.  Each booth will be provided with a 6ft table and 2 chairs.  Electricity is available if needed.   Breakfast will be provided for vendors on Friday morning during set up hours.

The market will be advertised in the Country Register and surrounding newspapers as well as circular detailing Christmas in the Country events.

If you would like to join us this year please fill out the enclosed application and send us a photo of your product or display.  Please indicate if you need your photos returned.   You may also email the photos if that is easier.   The photos help to assure that we have a variety of quality goods for our market.  If you have any questions feel free to contact us by phone or email.  Hope to see you in November!

Details & Regulations

 

Oxford is located approximately 30 miles south of Wichita on 1-35 and 10 miles east on Hwy 160 at the Wellington exit.

 

The Art and Antique market will run from 10am to 5pm on Friday, Nov. 23rd and 10am to 4pm on Saturday, Nov. 24th.  Set up will be Thursday from 7pm to 9pm and 7am to 9:30am Friday.  Please tear down booths Saturday after 4pm.

 

Applications must be received by October 5th.  Confirmation letters will be sent by October 30th.  Photos

 of merchandise should accompany application.  We reserve the right to refuse an entry.  Refused entries will be reimbursed the application fee.  There are no refunds for cancellations after November 10th, unless due to weather. 

 

The market will take place in an indoor location and will be locked during the night hours. 

 

Fee for each 8 x 10 booth space (limit 2) for the 2-day event is $50.00.

 

The Oxford Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for loss of articles, injuries or accidents of any kind.
