Umbrella Corps Commandos are the elite soldiers of Umbrella. They are various countrys and most have served in their countrys armed forces. But still must go through Umbrellas own boot camp and special training.
There are no washouts if you been selected to come to boot camp then already got what it takes to make it. Nearly all commandos are very well paid and have a nice retirement option. But just quiting or deserting is not an option unless you like to end as the lastest test subject in the Nemisis program.

Umbrella Corps Sargents are selected based on previous military background, natural leadership abilities and previous mission performance.
It is a job nearly all of the commandos are capable of, so the selection process is a difficult one.
