Your real name. No aliases: we'll figure it out sooner or later and you'll be less one job immediately. |
|
| *lifts one light brown eyebrow and flashes a teasing smile* How would you find out? Are you a mind reader? Oooh, that's exciting. What am I thinking right now? *presses the heel of her hand to her forehead and closes her eyes* *cracks one eye open and grins* Not a mindreader? How unfortunate. It'd be a fun talent to have. *drops her hand away from her face and holds it out to shake* I'm Naomi Reid. | |
| So, is that just between you and me, or do you have somethin' else you'd rather we call ya? | |
| Well, I suppose it could be just between you and me, but then we'd have to make up something for everyone else to call me. wouldn't we? *tilts her head* And then that would be a lie, and we'd have that alias problem thing. Just call me Naomi. It's my name. *nods* | |
| How old are ya? | |
| How old do you want me to be? *chuckles* I'm eighteen. | |
| Say I die tonight an' there are new guys at the door tomorrow when ya come in for work. How do they know it's you? What do you look like? | |
| *laughs* Oh, dear, that would be really unfortunate, wouldn't it? You don't come to work thinking that way, do you? That would be awful, to come to work every night thinking it might be your last. *looks truly distressed at the idea* How would you live with yourself? How would you do your job? *considers this for a moment, then shrugs, distress forgotten* I'm about five feet seven or eight inches tall, and I have light brown hair that's mostly straight, but waves in places - *considers a long lock of aforementioned hair* it's cantankerous, it doesn't like to behave. Thick as anything too - and my eyes are blue. *nods* What you should do, if you're worried about your employees being recognized, is maybe have a password or something for the staff, you know? So that if something did happen to you and someone new was on the door, they could just be given the password and they'd know that person was an employee. *helpfully* *smiles* *has an oval face, large, prominent dark blue eyes under eyebrows that perfectly match the sandy color of her hair, high cheekbones and a full mouth* | |
| Right. What's your background like? And got any education -- can ya read an' write? | |
| Of course I can read and write! Who can't? *pauses* Oh, well, I guess some people can't, but that's such a shame. I would hate to not be able to read. Not that I spend much time actually reading, because life is for living, not for reading about, you know? But if you couldn't read, then you couldn't read the newspaper, or a menu at a restaurant, or a theater marquee, or... *chatters on and never quite answers the whole question* | |
| Describe yourself, your personality. | |
| *stops chattering and considers this* Oh, well. I talk alot. *understatement* I want to be an actress *is bad at it though, for all her dramatics* , and I love being on stage or at the center of attention. *twirls a lock of hair around her finger* I love to laugh. I love to flirt *does, is a bit loose, but in a strangely innocent way*and I love people in general. *is quite a happy go lucky character, without much emotional baggage* *or at least, that's the impression she cultivates* I'm not terribly smart *taps her temple*, but sometimes I have good ideas. *nods* My mother used to call me a flittertigibet. But I think I've grown out of that. *laughs* At least, I hope so. *is something of an airhead, but always with the best intentions, there isn't a malicious bone in her body* | |
| Criminal record, prior arrests or convictions to speak of? | |
| *acks and laughs* Ohmygoodness, no! None. *shakes her head quickly* Are there people here who have convinctions? *eyes sparkling* How exciting, criminals! *wrinkles her nose in amusement* That's so interesting! Who? *looks around keenly* | |
| Got any family around, or friends? | |
| *gives up on finding out who's an exciting hardened criminal and moves on to the next question* No family, no. But lots of friends. None terribly close at the moment, though, since I haven't been in the area all that long. Although, I've seen lots of people I'd love to be friends with here so far, just talking to you and all. *nods and grins* | |
| What're your skills, an' what kind of job do you want? | |
| W *considers this* You name it, I can probably do it, unless it has to do with numbers. I'm hopeless at Math. But really, otherwise, I could wait tables, or cook, or host, or most anything, really. *nods quickly* | |
| Anything else? | |
| *looks serious for the first time during the interview* I really need a job, sir. Please. I'm a really hard worker, you won't regret it, I swear. *smiles brightly* | |
